Current solutions for temperature screening are based on one principle: they include a thermal imager and try to determine a person’s temperature using the obtained heat map. This approach forces you to use an expensive and high-precision thermal imager, or display absolutely wrong temperature when using cheap solutions.
We have developed and patented a completely different approach. To measure the temperature of a person’s body, we don’t need a heat map of the entire room, we only need to measure the temperature at one point, which we do. Using an optical camera and algorithms for determining the position of the face in the image, we determine the direction for measurement, and measure the temperature accurately in the Inner canthus of the eye, obtaining the exact value of the body temperature.
The new approach allows you to have accuracy not available to solutions with a thermal imager at a significantly lower price.
